TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
The Technical Committee is composed of technical representatives from SAFECode member companies. The Technical Committee leads the development of SAFECode deliverables such as white papers, leading practices, procurement guides, and other materials as deemed appropriate by the committee and the Board.

POLICY COMMITTEE
The Policy Committee is composed of senior representatives from SAFECode member companies and is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and analyzing the legal, regulatory and policy issues related to the assurance of products such as hardware, software and services. The Committee makes recommendations to the board on the sequencing of SAFECode deliverables and promotes the completed deliverables with the public, governments, critical infrastructures and large enterprises.

INFRASTRUCTURE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Infrastructure Advisory Committee is composed of individuals representing end users of critical software in the private sector. Advisory Committee members are recruited on an individual basis to help SAFECode determine requirements and refine materials to better address IT ecosystem needs.

GOVERNMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
As a critical customer to SAFECode members, SAFECode actively seeks the advice and support of US and foreign government agencies on issues of software assurance through the Government Advisory Committee. Advisory Committee members are recruited on an individual basis to help SAFECode determine requirements and refine materials to better address IT ecosystem needs.

ACADEMIA ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Making software assurance part of the standard curriculum for technology students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is a key part of the SAFECode mission. The Academic Advisory Committee is composed of representatives from leading computer science departments around the world to advise on how security can be made an integral part of educating computer science students. Advisory Committee members are recruited on an individual basis to help SAFECode determine requirements and refine materials to better address IT ecosystem needs.
